Pin Pitch : 1.27mm Network Specifications WHY DO WE NEED MAGNETIC MODULE IN THE LAN SYSTEM? For the LAN system we used magnetic filter module which may contain Isolation transformers, common mode chokes. The magnetic filter module is must for the LAN system to pass the FCC and signal integrity. Provides impedance matching, signal shaping and conditioning, high voltage isolation and reduce common mode noise. 10BaseT Design Transformer Common Mode Choke Lowpass Filter 10Base-T Low Pass Filter 10Base-T Low Pass Filter The major function of the filter is to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the incoming data stream by reducing any high frequency, differential-mode noise. HOW TO CONTROL THE 10Base-T FILTER PERFORMEANCE The performance of the filter can be controlled by tuning the Inductors, this can be done by grading the “Rod” cores and source these before winding. The grading can be done by using Inductance meter or automatic grating machine. This process help to maintain the cut-off frequency of the filter as well and give good functionality in the system. 10BaseT Transformer 10Base-T Transformer HOW TO CONTROL THE 10Base-T TRANSFORMER PERFORMEANCE The winding is one at the most important issues to control the performance of the transformer, this have to be nice and neat with regular tension, with no cross over’s, and wind all around the core in one single layer to maintain the leakage inductance (LL) and intertwining capacitance (CWW) low as possible.
