仁荣中学2012高考英语备考 阅读理解之主旨大意 要正确理解一篇文章，关键是要抓住文章的主旨大意。主旨大意题一般是要求考生归纳段落或文章的中心大意(main idea)和为文章选择标题（title)。 一、题型特点与命题方式【设题类型】 1、概括段落主题；2、概括文章大意；3、选出最佳标题；【设问形式】 1、段落主题常见的题干 1) The main idea of paragraph 1 is __ . 2) Paragraph 2 deals with __ . 3) Paragraph 3 tells us __ . ) Which of the following statements is best supported by the last paragraph? 2、文章大意类常见的主题型题干： 1) The main (general) idea of the passage is.2) What’s the topic of the article? 3) What is the subject discussed in the text? 4) Which of the following best describes the main point of the passage? 3、标题类常见的标题型题干： 1) The best title / headline for this passage might be_____________. 2) The text (passage) could be entitled ______________. 3) Which of the following is the best title for the passage? 4) Which of the following would be suitable as a title for the passage? 二、解题思路与应试技巧 【段落主题类】 段落的主旨通常从这两方面考虑： 1. 找出主题句。主题句通常是在一个段落的段首或段尾, 偶尔在段落的中间。 2. 找出主题词。有的段落无明显的主题句，考生就要找出主题词或关键词。因为任何一篇文章都是围绕某个主题展开的，所以文章中往往会反复出现某个中心词，这就是主题词。然后根据自己的理解归纳概括出文章的中心思想。主题句在段首。一个主题句常常是一个段落的开头，其后的句子则是论证性细节。 在，科技文献和新报道中多采用这种格式。有些段落，在主题句后面有明显的引出细节的信号词。常见的信号词有for example，an exampleof，the most important example of；first，second，next，last，finally；to begin with，also，besides thatone ； the other，some，others，等等。在阅读中应尽量利用上述信号词来确定主题句的位置。例题：People have different tastes in food.
