Abstract: In order to improve the hydrophility and antithrombogenicity of allyl-terminated poly (γ-benzyl-L-glutamate) (A-PBLG), 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorycholine (MPC) with good hydrophility and antithrombogenicity was copolymerized with A-PBLG through photo-induced polymerization and PBLG-co-PMPC was successfully prepared. The results indicated that MPC content in PBLG-co-PMPC was increased with the increase of the irradiation time. The hydrophility and biodegradation property of PBLG-co-PMPC were improved because of MPC introducing. The results of blood platelet adhesion indicated that PBLG-co-PMPC had better antithrombogenicity than A-PBLG.
