Courses and Teaching UCL recently introduced Arts and Sciences (BASc) programmes, where students study a mixture of arts and science subjects in a major/minor combination and are encouraged to forge links between the two disciplines. The university offers programmes across the areas of Arts and Humanities, Social and Historical Sciences, Laws, Life Sciences, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Built Environment, Brain Sciences, Engineering Sciences, the School of Slavonic and East European studies and the UCL Medical School. Costs Undergraduate courses at UCL cost ￡ 9,000 per year. Accommodation Rooms in UCL’s halls of residence (catered accommodation) range from ￡129.50 per week for a twin room to ￡192.50 per week for a single room. Rooms in the university’s student houses (self-catered) range from ￡96.60 per week for a twin room to ￡199.50 per week for a single room. Sport The Bloomsbury Fitness Centre has a range of facilities for students to use, and they are also able to use the University of London’s swimming pool next door. Transport Local bus: Bus services which serve the main campus central location include: 10, 14, 24, 29, 73, 134, 390. London’s public transport offers cheaper rates to students. Train: Located close to London Euston, Warren Street, Goodge Street and Russell Square tube stations, the main campus is well connected to the rest of capital and students can also reach national and international transport hubs easily.
