* * 2009年暑期高中新课程第二轮培训 高中英语听说课 课堂教学设计探讨 余姚中学 孟幼君 2009.7 问题思考: 学生对英语听、说技能的学习抱有怎样的一种态度? 一、学生学习和生活中可能会遇到的一些需要“听”的例子: --listening to the news/ weather forecast/ sports report/ announcements etc on the radio --discussing work/ current problems with family or colleagues --making arrangements/ exchanging news etc with acquaintances --chatting in a party/ other social gatherings --hearing announcements over the loudspeaker (at a railway station, for example, or airport) --attending a lesson/ seminar --receiving instructions on how to do something/ get somewhere --being interviewed/ interviewing --watching a film/ theatre show/ television program --hearing a speech/ lecture --listening to recorded/ broadcast songs --attending a formal occasion (wedding/ prize-giving/ other ceremonies) --getting professional advice (from a doctor, for example) --being tested orally in a subject of study --Penny Ur: Teaching Listening Comprehension What’s special about listening? There are a number of ways in which listening activities differ from other classroom exercise: firstly, tapes go at the same speed for everybody. Unlike language study or speaking practice—or even reading, where individual students can read (to some extent) at their own pace– the tape continues even if individual students are lost. The relentlessness of taped material accounts for the feeling of panic which many students experience during listening activities. Listening is too special because spoken language, especially when it is informal, has a number of unique features including the use of incomplete utterances (eg ‘Dinner?’ serving as a perfectly functional way of asking ‘Is dinner ready?’), repetitions (eg ‘I’m absolutely sure; absolutely sure you know that she’s right.’ hesitations ( ‘Yes, well, ummm, yes, possibly, but, er…’) etc. --Jeremy Harmer: The Practice of English Language Teaching 二、《课标》对听力目标(6-9级)的描述 ①听大意和主题; ②抓关键词; ③预测下文内容; ④确定事物的发展顺序或逻辑关系; ⑤理解说话人的意图和态度;
