《四庫全書初次進呈存目》初探 ——編纂時間與文獻價值＊ 臺灣大學中文系 夏長樸 【本著作除另有註明外，採取創用 CC 「姓名標示 －非商業性－相同方式分享」台灣3.0版 授權釋出】 提要 《四庫全書初次進呈存目》現藏於臺北國家圖書館，是一部沈埋二百餘年罕 為人知的書稿。此書雖非完璧，卻四部俱全，數量龐大，仍殘存有四千頁之多 ， 共計1790 條提要 。加以是 《四庫全書》開館編修以來，為進呈乾隆皇帝御覽核 示 ，各書提要的首次合編成冊 ，雖無《總目》之名，卻有《總目》之實 ，可以說 是《四庫全書總目》的原始面目。由於編纂時代較早，修訂較少，內容也最接近 提要分纂稿的原貌，為探討 《四庫全書總目》編纂過程，增添了較可靠的資料。 本文之作，重點在討論《四庫全書初次進呈存目》的編纂時代，以確定這部 書稿在研究《四庫全書總目》編纂上的定位 ，同時也討論其文獻價值 。 關鍵詞：《四庫全書》、《四庫全書總目》、《四庫全書初次進呈存目》 A Preliminary Study of the Preliminary Catalogue of the Si Ku Quan Shu for Imperial Presentation: Its Date of Composition and Textual Value National Taiwan University Department of Chinese Literature, Hsia Chang- Pwu Abstract The Preliminary Catalogue of the Si Ku Quan Shu for Imperial Presentation, currently conserved in the Taiwan National Library, is a little known text that has lain unnoticed for centuries. Although the text is incomplete, each of the four categories is present, with abstracts for 1,790 books and over four thousand pages remaining. Since it was produced shortly after the office of the Si Ku Quan Shu had been established, in order to prepare material for presentation to the emperor, an abstract for each of the books in the collection is included; it is, in effect, a General Catalogue, although it does not have that title. It can be said to be the original form of the later General Catalogue of the Si Ku Quan Shu. Since it dates from an earlier period than the later 1 version and there has been less editing, it is a reliable source for understanding the original form of that document. This paper discusses the date of compilation for the Preliminary Catalogue of the Si Ku Quan Shu for Imperial Presentation, determines its position for studying the process of compilation of the Si Ku Quan Shu, and also discusses its literary value
