Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey As a black woman, Oprah Winfrey (born Orpah Gail Winfrey; January 29, 1954) is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer and philanthropist she is one of the most influential women. Altnough she is very fat and not beautifui, she has a positive mental attitude. From her smile ,we can know that.She is very confident! Since 2004,Time magazine has six times conducted a poll to name the 100 most influential people in the world. Only one person has appeared on all six lists, Oprah winfrey. In 1986 a talk show called Am Chicago on the WLS-TV station was traling last in the ratings. After a time , she jion in the WLS-TV station. From near oblivion in just one year, Oprah was able to turn around the shows’ failing ratings, taking it straight to number one and in the process setting down the foundations for a new style of the talk show. AM Chigo was gone ,now it was the ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’. The last show of the 25th season will mark the end of an era, as Oprah leaves the talk show circuit to concentrate on the founding of her own cable network suitable labelled OWN. Dont expect to see less of Oprah though as, this is a woman who will not be settling down in obscurity but will go to her death bed fighting to up hold and promote all that is good in humanity.
