According to David Numan, the framework for tasks is as the following: Tasks Goals Input Activities Teacher role Learner role Settings As is stated in the new principles of foreign language teaching in schools, “the task-based approach aims at providing opportunities for the learners to experiment with and explore both spoken and written language through learning activities authentic,practical and functional use of language for meaningful purpose.”D. Numan suggests teachers present the tasks at the very beginning of each class ,with the task-driven the learn- ers will obtain the language focus and get their micro- skills trained, improve their interest and effective in learning in a real-world. IV.Learning approach Task-Driven Learning. With the task-driven approach, the learners will try their best to carry out the tasks in every activity, learning in a meaning purpose.
