台灣地區少年加入幫派危險因子之實證研究* 蔡德輝**、楊士隆*** 摘要 近來媒體大幅報導幫派組織染指校園，吸收學生入會，引起警政、司法與教育部門之高度關切。由於少年參與幫派行為極可能衍生諸多偏差與犯罪行為，為校園安全與整體社會治安帶來鉅大衝擊，因此亟待加強研究因應。 為瞭解那些因素會直接或間接促使少年加入幫派，本研究於民國九十年三月至八月，由台北少觀所、、、、；、、； 最後，本文亦根據國內外相關文獻及本研究之發現，針對防治少年加入幫派之議題以及對後續研究，提出多項建議，可供相關單位參考。 關鍵詞：幫派、、 STUDY OF RISK FACTORS OF JUVENILE GANG INVOLVEMENT IN TAIWAN Abstract In recent year, a new challenge for the government and scholars in dealing with juvenile delinquency and violence in schools are gangs intrude extensively school campus (in particular junior and senior high schools). Media’s reports highlight the seriousness of the issue. In fact, a recent poll showed that citizens viewed gangs related violence in schools as the biggest problem confronting the school system in Taiwan. Despite these, little is known about the factors that pushed these groups of juvenile into gang’s circles. Such development requires further research so as to capture the underlying causes and searching for appropriate preventive measures. In response, the study launch the survey to 880 juveniles detained in detention center and training school in Taiwan area during the period of March to August, 2001. 63 respondents who have been active in participating gangs activities were finally analyzed, and compared to normal samples so we to explore the differences. The study reveal that before juvenile join gangs, they contain the following characteristics: lower socio-economic status, higher family disorder, more alienation between parents and children, lower supervision from parents, higher rate of dropping out of school, higher frustrations of learning, more impulsive, risky and depressive, higher rate of hanging around in bar and pubs. higher degrees of longing for gangs and higher rate of deviant behaviors. Finally, through literature review and the research, this study also addresses many issues relate to juvenile gangs involvement and offer preventive suggestions for relevant governance.
