2nd period friendship (pre-reading and reading) 1.教材分析(analysis of teaching material) In this lesson, the teaching emphasis will be put on developing the Ss’ reading ability and getting them to learn to use some reading strategies such as guessing, key sentences, skimming and so on. 2.学情分析(analysis of the students) Our Ss’ learning ability need to approve. They may not know some reading skills such as guessing, key sentences, skimming and so on. It needs our teachers to guide. 3.教学目标(Teaching aims) 知识目标(Knowledge aims) Enable students to learn the background of the story Lean the meaning of the new words or phrases: feeling, German, series, outdoors, crazy, nature, purpose, dare, entirely, power, trust, indoors, suffer, teenager, habit, situation, advise, editor, communicate etc. 能力目标(Ability aims) Lean the basic method of reading Lean to guess the meaning of the new words or phrases How would you describe Ann’s feelings while she was looking out into the night sky? 4.教学重点和难点(teaching important points and difficult points) teaching important points: Lean the meaning of the new words or phrases difficult points: Lean the basic method of reading 5.教学过程(Teaching procedures) *warm up Step Ⅰleading in Does a friend always have to be a person?
