A: Basic aims: 1. Listening: Locate specific information in response to simple instructions or questions.
2. Speaking: Use modeled phrases and sentences to communicate with teachers and other learners. Maintain an interaction by providing information in response to factual or ‘Yes/No’ questions. Use appropriate intonation in questions and statements.
3. Reading: Predict the meaning of unfamiliar words by using context or picture cues. Locate specific information in a short text in response to questions.
B: Further aims: Add some other information as many as possible.
Language focus:
1. Using modals to ask for permission.
2. Using predicative adjectives to describe conditions.
