* T H E B U S I N E S S P E R F O R M A N C E S O F T W A R E C O M P A N Y? * * In more IT oriented terms we understand that even though major investments have been made in enterprise information systems there still exists some very important points of pain. Companies are still unable to do critical things that business performance software could arguably improve. What are three of those things that they can still not do very effectively? ? The first is they have trouble accessing all the different information sources that exist today throughout the enterprise. They have spent many years installing major transaction systems. But today it is still difficult to access them in any single way, to tease out the information that is so critical to making better information. ? Secondly, even if they can access those information sources, it is very difficult for them to apply the right analytics or the right evaluative techniques to find the real information from among all those far flung disparate pieces of information scattered across a company. This is very critical because most companies are unable to do this today. ? And the last, third point, is that information once it is called out and made into something that is useful is then properly distributed to all those individuals in the enterprise so they could actually make better business decisions as a result of having it at their finger tips at the right place and at the right time. * Brio’s intentions as a vendor is to ensure that it delivers world-class products, technologies and applications in this blue area of this slide. We will remain agnostic on the back end working with all the right vendors to ensure we can tap into, access and utilize all the information from a wide variety of information bases.
