Measurementstudyontheimplantareaofmaxillarysinus withspiralCTvirtualendoscopyAbstractMeasurementstudyontheimplantareaofmaxillarysinus withspiralCTvirtualendoscopyAbstractObjective:ToevaluatethevalueofspiralCTvirtualendoscopyinmeasurementof theanatomicalstructureofthemaxillary sinusandalveolarbonedensityof plantingareas, anddiscusstheclinicalsignificanceofspiralCTvirtual endoscopy in themaxillary sinuselevationsurgery.Methods:In60cases,maxillarysinuseswerescannedandthreedimensional reconstructedbyspiralCTbeforeandaftertheoperation. ①AsthebenchmarkofZAC（ZygomaticAlveolarCrest）line,thelengthandwidthofmaxillarysinus weremeasured, and the lowest position of the sinus floor and sinus septum were demonstrated oncomputedworkstation. ②Alveolarboneof60caseswerescannedandthreedimensionalreconstructedwithspiralCT,theHounsfieldUnitesof60ringzonesaroundpotential implantsitesweremeasuredoncomputedworkstation,andthecorrespondingsitesbonedensitywere classified withLekholmand Zarb grouping. ③Intra sinus images weredemonstratedbyspiralCTvirtualendoscopybeforeandafterthesinuselevated operation.④SpiralCTvirtualendoscopicsinusimageswerecomparedwithendoscopic sinusimages.Results:ThemaxillarysinusmorphosisweredemonstratedbySpiralCTvirtual endoscopybefore the sinus elevated operation, the images were similar to theendoscopic images. The lengthofmaxillarysinus was 29.38±4.99mm, the widthofmaxillarysinuswas18.17±3.43mm.Therewere11(18.33%)sinusseptumin60cases. Theaverageeffective alveolarboneheightwas6.5mm.Themeanbonedensityofringzones(666.26±161.57HU)aroundpotentialimplantsiteswashigherthanthemeanbonedensityofimplantsites(580.75±151.68HU).All73implantswereimplantedandthe “tent-like”images ofmaxillarysinusfloorcouldbevisibleby spiralCTvirtualendoscopy, theaveragetissuethickness ofsinusfloorcoveredtheimplanttipwas 2.5±0.8mm.AbstractMeasurementstudyontheimplantareaofmaxillarysinuswithspiralCTvirtualendoscopyConclusion:Theanatomicalstructureofthemaxillarysinuscanbedemonstratedby spiralCT
