Chapter 1(复习题) Language points： What happened to sb.? 某人怎么了,某人发生了什么事 Eg. What happened to you? = What was wrong with sb.? / What was the matter with sb.? Why not +动词原形= why don’t you + 动词原形 ： 为什么不做某事(表示建议) Eg. Why not come here? = Why don’t you come here? 3. start/begin to do sth. start/begin doing sth. 开始做某事 当start/begin 本身以 ing 形式出现时，后面一般用to do,而不用doing. Eg. I start to learn English carefully. Students are starting to prepare for the exam. 4.with 带有，具有，表伴随状态。 a big country with a long history. 具有悠久历史的国家。 a girl with long hair 有长头发的女孩 I don’t know the boy with glasses. 我不知道那个带眼镜的男孩。 5. go skiing 去滑雪 “go doing” 表示去做某事 Eg. go swimming 去游泳 go shopping 去购物 go camping 去野营 go fishing 去钓鱼 go sightseeing 去观光 We can go skiing in France in winter. 6. such as 例如，表示列举。 such as 和 for example 都表示举例，但是such as 强调列举，后通常多项，且常与and so on连用，for example指举具体事例，后有“，” I like eating fruit, such as apples, bananas, watermelons, and so on. Trees are very useful. For example, trees can clean the air. 7. used to do sth. 过去常常做某事。 注：只用于过去时态，没有其它时态。 He used to get up early, but he doesn’t now. 8. one of… 其中之一 one of 后面的名词要用复数 ： one of students 其中一个学生. 当这个名词前面有形容词修饰时，要用它的最高级。 “one of +形容词最高级＋名词的复数” -----“…中之一” Eg. one of the tallest students. Mary is one of the tallest girls in my class. She is one of the most beautiful girls in my class. 9. be famous for =be known for 表示“以…而出名’ Shenzhen is famous for Diwang Building. 10. the same as … 与….一样 Eg. My book is the same as yours. 我的书和你的是一样的。 I have the same book as you. 我有一本和你一样的书。 11. find sth+名词/形容词＋to do 发现做某事怎么样 Eg. I find English easy to learn. 我发现英语很容易学。 I find EuroDisney a good place to visit. 我发现迪斯尼是很好的参观地方。 12. enjoy oneself = have a good time “玩得开心” I enjoyed myself last week. = I had a good time last week. 13. help sb (to) do sth. 帮助某人做某事 He often helps me learn English. help sb with sth. 帮助某人某事 He often helps me with my English. 14.
