Thesimulationanalysis andexperimentalstudyofthemechanical properties ofBTAdeepholetoolAbstractAsamethodofdeepholeprocessing,BTAhasbecomeacommonlyusedtechnologybecauseofits wideprocessingrange,good processingquality,andstableprocessing performance.However, withthe progressingofmanufacturingtechnology,theBTAdeepholemachiningqualityhasbeendifficulttomeet therequirementsofthenewproduct,amajorobstacletorestrictthedevelopmentoftheentiremachining technology.Therefore,wemustactivelyseekeffectivemeasurestoimprovethequalityofBTAdeephole machining.Intheactualprocess,infact,thedeformationBTAdrillandthevibrationofthedrillpipeare importantfactorsaffecting thequalityofdeepholemachining.Thesefactorsvarydependingon the mechanicalcharacteristicsofthedeepholecutter(i.e.,thedrillbitanddrillpipe),sothestudyof mechanical propertiesis important.This articleistostudy themechanicalpropertiesoftheBTAdrillbitand drillpipe.Firstly,thistopicresearchwithdrillingprincipleandcharacteristicsofBTAdeephole processing,analyzedthedrillingforces and establishedamechanicalmodel,discussedtheproperinstallation angleandprinciplesoftheguideblock,analyzedthevibrationphenomenaintheBTAdrilling.Secondly,we madeastaticanalysis andsimulationwith theBTAdrilling,observedthewearconditionoftheBTAdrilling teeth,middleteethand sideteeth intheExperiment,verify theresultsofsimulation,providingabasis forthe BTAdrillingstructuraloptimization.BythemodalanalysisoftheBTAdrilling,wereachedthetopten ordervibrationmodeofthemodel.Finally,thisissuemadethemodalanalysisandharmonicresponse analysisoftheBTAdrillpipe,reaching the characteristicsoftoptenofthedrillpipeordermodalshape,and theamplituderesponseatdifferentfrequenciesalongtheX,Y,Zdirection,findingthatcauseresonance frequenciesistheseventh-and ninth-ordermodes.Proposed in thedrilling process,thisissuesuggest excitationfrequencytoavoidthesetwofrequenciesshouldbeadjustedtoreducetheamplitudeof vibration.ThistopicproposedmanyeffectivemeasurestoreducethedeformationoftheBTAdrillbitan
