AbstractVisibleLightCommunication(VLC)isanemergingopticalwirelesscommunication technologywhichisdevelopedwithemittedthewhiteLED.LEDhasahightransmissionpower, electromagneticinterferenceandwiderspectralrange,theLEDhasahugepotentialforvisible communicationdevelopment.VLCcanprovidenotonlyindoorlightingillumination,andalsocan beappliedtomeetthedemandforindoorpersonalnetworkinwirelessopticalcommunication system.MIMO(Multiple-InputMultiple-Out-put)technologyusesamulti-emitterarrayand multi-receivearraytoachieveaparalleldatatransmission.Whenmultipleantennasusethesame bandwidthatthesametime,MIMOtechnologyimprovethegainofthecommunicationsystemby thenumberofantennasofthesystemtransceivers,thusavoidingthebandwidthlimitations.MIMO technologyappliedtotheLEDvisiblelightcommunicationwillimprovethechannelcapacityand thereliabilityofthechannel,and reducetheerrorrate.Discussingthedifferencebetweensingletransmittersinglereceiversystemandmultipleinput multipleoutput(MIMO)systems,thispaperanalysetheprincipleofbasedonMIMOvisible communicationandthecharacteristicsofthestructureindetail,discussingcombiningMIMO systemcharacteristicswiththefeasibilityofthebindingassay.Thispaperfirstintroducesthe conceptsandthebasictheoryofthevisiblelightcommunicationandtheMIMOtechnology,and thendiscussthekeytechnologyofindoorvisiblelightwirelesscommunicationsystem,buildingnon-imaging?imaging-visible MIMO communication systems basic models and visible lightcommunicationsystemwithawidefieldreceivingdevice,analysingtheexistenceandfeasibility betweenthethree.FinallythispassageestablishedimagingtypeMIMOvisiblecommunication systemmodel,transmissionaseriesofpulsesignals,andsuccessfullyidentifiedtheoriginalsignal.
