Amo ng many require ment elic itat ion met hods, this paper proposes a require ment ana lys is one based on scenario and use case to deal with the communication gap between software developers and users.Probably, the interaction seque nce of a scenario to reach a certain goal is not uniq ue and has ma ny exceptio ns that make the sequence perplexing or even cause the goal to fail d irectly. There fore, in order to describe the scenario better, this paper gives ana lys is and co mparison for features and applicat io n scope of different kinds of scenario, as well as compares various methods of describing the scenar io. In order to make up for the defic iency of describ ing demand by scenario, we use UML use case diagram to describe scenario in the form o f semi- for ma l mode l to obtain better readabilit y.
