Module 7 Feelings and impressions Unit 1 That smells delicious! 一、教学目标 能力目标 能够听懂用表感觉和知觉的系动词所表达的内容 能够询问并表达对事物的感觉 语言知识目标 能够初步使用表感觉的动词对食物的味道、人的印象等进行评论 能够正确朗读主系表结构的句子 That tastes delicious. You look smart. 重点词汇 shoe dear matter cheese cookie try sweater both must introduce 情感目标 能够通过阅读他人的自我描述,更好理解他人,从而懂得关心他人 学习策略 能够用表感觉和知觉的系动词表达自己的感觉并积极与他人合作学习。 二、教学过程 Step 1 Warming up T:Show the students a picture and point to the girl , say to the students What is the girl doing ? What does she think of the food? S:The students say She is having dinner with her family. The food is delicious . T:The teacher says Yes , it’s delicious. The food smells delicious. Write the sentences The food smells delicious on the blackboard. Then show more pictures and lead out new words on the Bb in the same way , for example You look very young . These shoes feel tight. Is it fish soup? It tastes salty . 4. Have the children gone home? It sounds quiet. Step 2 In put T:Ask the students to read the sentences on the Bb aloud and repeat them. Play the tape for Act.7 on P57 and ask the Ss to repeat them . Show the table of Act. 6 on the Bb and ask the Ss to complete it . S:Then lead them to make some sentences with them and see if the Ss can use the sense verbs properly. eye look smart,… nose hand ear mouth Step 3 Practice T:Ask the Ss to close the books and show them some questions about the conversation of Act.3. Let them listen to the tape and answer the questions 1. How many people are talking ? What have they made ? Whose is going to the airport? And why ? What has Betty / Lingling made ? How does the cheese smell ? How do the chocolate cookies taste ? Play the tape twice and check the questions. Books open! S: Show Everyday English to Ss and ask them to find them in the conversation and help them guess the meaning . Then ask them to have a talk with proper Everyday English . Step 4 Read an
