* The Globalization of China After seeing the films on the banking system of America, how Chinese migrant workers (people who come from the villages looking for factory work in Chinese cities) were affected when the 2008 economic crash happened [remember 10 million lost their jobs!] and the film, The Inside Job... What can we conclude? The Globalization of China We could conclude that in the past 17 years it appears that Chinas economy is heavily dependant on manufacturing, gaining contracts from other countries to produce their goods (Nike, iPhone, Guess Jeans) But is this true?? Define Globalization What is globalization? Answer: The exchange of world views, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture. This is only in general terms. Define Globalization In the business world, globalization means: An agreement between international companies (or countries, i.e. United States and China), which leads to the development of mult-national corporations.
