We were surprised how varied the answers were. There seem to be many different learning styles, though all rated attending courses fairly high on their list. We asked subjects which of the four language skills they found hardest. We were not surprised that they found the receptive skills easier than the productive ones. Listening was rated easiest, followed by reading. There was less agreement whether writing or speaking was the harder.; We inquired about difficulties in respect of each of the four skills.
