Abstract The temperature of Kalina geothermal power plant tail water is high. In order to solve the problem, a novel Kalina cycle called absorption and heat up kalina cycle (AH-KC) which combined absorption heat transformer is proposed in this paper. The geothermal tail water which has heat exchanged in generator is viewed as the drive heat source for the absorption heat transformer, and the heat released in the absorber during the process is absorbed by the basic ammonia water whose temperature is low, which results to a higher temperature in th
