Methods To perform intr rect l ultr sound ex min tion on the p tients, experienced digit l rect l ex min tion, with suspended dis e se of the rectum nd perirectum. Result s 84 c ses were detected h ving p thologic l lession in their rectum nd perirectum, mong them, 38 c ses being rect l dise se, nd 46 c ses being perirect l dise se. Out of the 38 p tients, 27 c ses were di gnosed h ving rect l c ncer nd 11 c ses h ving rect l endometriosis. 37 of the 46 p tients with perirect l lession were di gnosed h ving benign p thologic ch nges such s ter tom nd bscess, 9 c ses h ving m lign nt dise se such s s cr l chordom .
