Abstract Supply chain management is about improving the products, processes and functioning of the chain of enterprises involved in the delivery of products and services from raw materials. This paper provides a brief review of supply chain management and reviews some supply chain transformation methodologies. A standard methodology that guides in the transformation of the supply chain is presented. Also an IDEF0 model of the proposed methodology is provided that details the various activities that are involved in transforming the supply chain.
