AbstractUnder the environment of Educational Informationalìzation ，Primary and Secondary Schools in rural area of Gansu have been implementing different projects. ?ased on the project ，Primary and Secondary Schools in rural area 泊ve been pointed to be Information Resource Centers. They are expected to be well used in the field ofeducation and agricul ture.曹e hope to seek for a way to develop education and agriculture through the interaction of them. Through the way of questionnaire andfield survey，this thesis analyzes the statue of Infor脑tionResource Centers inRural Area，summarizes the existing problems and puts out a serious of tactics.The first p町t is a brief introduction. It gives the background ，。如jec t ，purpose and methods of the thesis.τhe second p缸t is the analysis of the status of the construction and application of Information Resource Centers. Through the questionnaire of head teachers .administratorsandteachers ，the thesis analyzes the construction of hardwareand software，application ，managementand maintenance.The third part is the analysis of existing problems. ?ased on the questionnaire ，the thesis points out that the main problems are as follows: hardware weakness ，scarcity of software，weakness in the use of education and agriculture ，less guarantee in facility operation.The fourth part is the developmental countermeasures of Information Resource Centers in Rural Areas. 1t points out that_Information Resource Centers must take the way of application promotes development and development promotes application .Aiming at the status，we should strengthen t t1e following aspects: source of funding，plan of the constructionofinformationalenvironment ，constructionresource ， training of personne l，system，atmosphere ofapplication ，cooperation between schools and rural community ，maintenance of facility.The fifth part is a s四mnary about the study.(Key wonlsl :1nformation Resource Centers in Rural
