AbstractCorrosionofthereinforcementisconsideredtobeoneofthemainreasonsthatleadtostructuralfailureofconcreteinadvance.Therearemanywaystosolvethisproblem,whichincludeadoptinganticorrosivecoatings,electrochemicaltreatment(suchaselectrochemicalrealkalization,electrochemicalsaltextraction),andcorrosioninhibitorsandsoon.Amongthesemethods,electrochemicalsaltextractionandcorrosioninhibitorsarethoughttobeeffectiveoninhibitingthecorrosionofrebars,butbothofthemhaveshortcomingsoftheirown.Therefore,moreandmoreresearchersfocustheirattentiononelectrochemicalinjectionofinhibitor(EII)technologywhichisthecombinationofelectrochemicalsaltextractionandcorrosioninhibitors.Thistechnologycannotonlytransfercorrosioninhibitorstosteelsurface,butalsoremovechlorideionpartlyoutoftheconcreteinterior,whichgivetherebarsdoubleprotections.Threekindsofproblemsareinvestigatedinthispaper(i)theselectionofcorrosioninhibitors,(ii)theeffectofelectrochemicalinjectionofinhibitorsonreinforcedconcretewithdifferentmixturesand(iii)themechanismofelectrochemicalinjectionofinhibitors.First,electrochemicalmethodsareadoptedtostudythesingleorcoupledpropertiesofseveralalcoholamineinhibitorsinthesimulatedconcreteporesolution,whichincludeself-corrosionpotential,linearpolarizationresistance(LRP),electrochemicalimpedancespectroscopy(EIS),etc.BasedontheEISofrebar,thepaperestablishesequivalentcircuitofrebarcorrosionprocessinsimulatedconcreteporesolutionandfurthercomparingthefittedvaluestothemeasuredonesindicatesthattheequivalentcircuitusedissuitable.Accordingtothetestresultsinsimulatedconcreteporesolution,twokindsofcorrosioninhibitorsareselectedforEIItests.Self-corrosionpotential,LRPandEISarediscussedtoanalyzetheeffectofW/Candmineraladmixturesontheanti-corrosionpropertiesandsaltextractioncontentsintheEIItestsbytheself-designedelectrochemicaltestdevice.Meanwhile,thispaperalsoestablishestheequivalentcircuit,characterizingcorrosionprocessinreinforcedconcrete,andtheresultsindicatethatthedegreeoffittingwiththemeasuredvaluesisofgre
