AbstractInChina,theTrackandFieldTraditionalEventSchoolsgotstartedinthe1980s,whichnotonlyaretheimportantpartsoftheall-rounddevelopmentoftheschoolphysicaleducation,butalsoshoulderthegreatresponsibilityofcultivatingthetrackandfieldbackuptalentsthatiscloselyconnectedwiththestrategicheightofthedevelopmentofcompetitivesportsandaffects“ProgramofStrivingforOlympicGlory”greatly.Inrecentyears,theTrackandFieldTraditionalProjectSchoolshaveencounteredmanyproblemsintheprocessofeducationinnovation.Throughthemethodsofliterature,questionnairesurvey,face-to-faceinterviewandmathematicalstatistics,athoroughinvestigationhasbeenmadeonthepresentdevelopmentof21TrackandFieldTraditionalEventSchools(including11primaryschoolsand10middleschools)inXi’anCityinmultiways.Itmainlytalksabouttheprojectlayout,thesportsfunds,theenthusiasmofthecoaches,thecontradictionbetweenlearningandtraining,thetrainingandtransformoftrackandfieldsportstalents,thebetterdevelopmentoftheexcellentsportstalents.Theresultsareasfollows:Examination-orientededucationmodelledtothetraditionalitemsoftheindividualtrackandfieldschoolleaders’payingenoughattentiontothemanagementofalackofintensity.Thetrackisdifficulttogettheattentionofschoolleaders,andevenphysicaleducationteacherswithothersubjectteachersinthetreatmentcomparedtotheexistenceofarelativelylargegap.Showingtheformofamulti-channelsourcesoffundingofthetrackandfieldtrainingschoolsinXian,mainlyrelyingongovernmentfunding,themajorityoffundingisresolvedbytheschoolsthemselves,andothersourcesoflessthannormal,whichlargelyrestrictsthedevelopmentoftrackandfieldprojectschools,butalsoexposesthefollowingproblems,suchasfunds’notbeingimplemented,obsoletefacilities,venuesandequipment,lesschancestocompeteandmanyotherissues.InXianAthleticstraditionalschools,physicaleducationteachers’educationlevelisbasicallyrationalandeducatedtoacollegeeducation,butweakinresearchawareness.Theobviouscontradictionbetweenlearningandtrainingisthatparentsdonotagreewiththeathletes’training,sothequalityoftrainingisdif
