Research on Correlation of Tourette Syndrome and the TCM Constitution of Children Speciality Pediatric nervous system disease research of TCM Author Shang jian chen Tutor Professor Li yanning Abstract Objective：This research provides an analysis of Children with Tourette Syndrome in patients with child body mass of the sub-type of Chinese medicine and physical fitness and the occurrence of Children with Tourette Syndrome related factors to explore traditional Chinese medicine and the physical development of Children with Tourette Syndrome and the inherent relationship between the rules of traditional Chinese medicine Children with Tourette Syndrome theoretical basis for physical research and clinical Children with Tourette Syndrome on the prevention and treatment of new ideas for expansion. Methods：  Cross-sectional study using epidemiological methods  in  strict accordance with the standards and exclusion criteria into the selection from February 2010 to February 2012 the subsidiary of Chinese Medicine Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Shandong University Qilu Hospital outpatient visits have been carried out the relevant examination and diagnosis of pediatricTourettes patients. Investigation of selected patients including general information signs and symptoms and laboratory tests tongue and pulse and physical type and finally to establish a database for statistical analysis. Results：In this study a total of 150 cases of selected cases which accounted for 75.3%of male patients female patients accounted for 24.7% male to female ratio 3.05. Constitution of TCM qi quality and phlegm for more than accounted for 34.7%and 30.0% respectively followed by special intrinsic quality yin deficiency accounting for 14.7% and 12.6% respectively while the gentleness is rare accounting for only 2.7%.
