both P value of phlegm-damp syndrome( ? 2=17.257)and blood stasis syndrome( ? 2=10.235) is smaller than 0.01, have the significant difference; Diabetic great vessel pathological changes have positive correlation with qi deficiency syndrome、 yin deficiency syndrome、the blood stasis syndrome(r =0.102、0.107、0.118,P0.05), phlegm-damp syndrome significantly(r =0.166,P0.01);Diabetes microvascular pathological changes have positive correlation with qi deficiency syndrome(r =0.113, P0.05), the blood stasis syndrome significantly(r =0.196,P0.01).Conclusion：The the morbidity of newly-diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus chronic complications is high, awareness rate is low. “the sugar toxin” and “the lipid toxin” possibly is the important factor which accelerate occurrence of chronic complications, the prevention should pay great attention to control the multiple risk factors. Characteristics of diabetic chronic complications is “asthenia in origin and excess in superficiality”.“deficiency、blood stasis” are throughout diabetes and its chronic complications.“qi and yin deficiency, phlegm-damp and blood stasis blocking venation” possibly is the common pathologic foundation causing the diabetic chronic complications.
