Ⅰ.Warm-up(热身活动)
1.Greetings.
The teacher should quickly practise different greetings with the class so that the students feel relaxed.
2.Look and say.
The teacher gives some pictures and let students say out the jobs: teacher, doctor, policeman, driver, writer, footballer, nurse, clown
?Ⅱ.Presentation (介绍新语言项目)
老师和学生一起说一说他们的父母的职业:What’s your father/mother? He’s/She’s….然后向学生提问:“Lingling的祖父母是从事什么职业的呢?”请学生从课文中寻找答案,并向Lingling学一学如何用英语向朋友介绍你的祖父母曾经从事的职业吧。
?Ⅲ.New Teaching (课文教学)
1.Do a picture description.
Picture 1: Lingling is sitting on the sofa giveing Sam and Amy some photos.
Picture 2: Sam is pointing to a photo of a young Chinese woman driving a bus.
Picture 3: Lingling is giveing a photo of a man. He is playing the flute.
Picture 4: Lingling is playing the flute. Amy and Sam are covering their ears.
2.Listen, point and find “was”.播放录音或CD-ROM,学生看图,同时用笔划出课文中所有的“was”。提醒学生:“was”是“is”的过去式。
3.Then answer: What was Lingling’s grandma? what was Lingling’s grandpa?(flute player是新授单词,可引导学生用英语说出来。)
4.Learn to say the new words: flute, player, drive/drove.
Teaching methods: 老师把新词写在黑板上,请学生说一说这几个单词的意思。也可以通过老师的肢体语言帮助学生理解词义。老师可用夸张的口型或播放录音来示范这些单词的发音。
5.Learn to say the new sentences.
Teaching methods:
