Blood flows round the body, forming a circle-like movement. Such a movement is known as the circulation of blood. If the circulation is cut off, all of the cells will soon die. 血液循环模式图 Blood travels round the body through two major routes. The lesser circulation, from the right ventricle to the left atrium, is called the pulmonary circulation. The allows sodium ions to move into the cell down their electrochemical gradient（梯度）,and the membrane potential changes very rapidly from –90mv to about +30mv.
