* 冠 词（高三） 一、学习目标 1．冠词的种类 冠词分为两种, 一种是不定冠词a(an), 另一种是定冠词(the). 不定冠词的用法: 1）表示人或物的某一类. A steel worker makes steel. A plane is a machine that can fly. 2）表示某一类人或事物中的任何一个. This is an apple. His father is a teacher. 3）泛指某人或某物,但不具体说明何人何物. A comrade is waiting for you downstairs. I met an old man on my way to school. 4）表示”一个”的意思 He’ll be back in a day or two. He tried to send a picture of a face. 5）表示单位, 相当于 “每一个”的意思. Take this medicine three times a day. The train is running fifty miles an hour. 2．定冠词的用法: 1）特指某(些)人或某(些)事物 Beijing is the capital of the People’s Republic of China. Is this the plane to Shanghai? Who is the comrade you just said hello to? 2）指谈话双方都知道的人或事物 Where is the teacher? How did you like the film? 3）表示前面的话里或上文提到过的人或事物 He ordered a book some time ago. The book has now arrived. He has two children, a boy and a girl. The boy’s name is John. The girl’s name is Mary. 4）用在世界独一无二的事物或方位等名词前面. Football is played all over the world.
