A total of 1,709 patients with type 2 diabetes were given questionnaires and asked to self-report on whether they had hypoglycemic symptoms, the severity of those symptoms, treatment satisfaction, and treatment adherence.1 Overall, 652 (38.4%) patients reported having hypoglycemic symptoms, compared with 1045 (61.6%) patients who reported not having hypoglycemic symptoms. In patients with hypoglycemia, significantly fewer never had problems getting their prescriptions filled (P=0.0075), significantly fewer were never bothered by side effects (P=0.0001), fewer were never unable to follow treatment plans (P=0.0043), and fewer were never unsure about instructions (P=0.0057).1 These results show that there was a significant decrease in self-reported
