My pen pal lives in Shanghai. 在一般现在时中，当主语是第三人称单数或单数名词时，谓语用动词的第三人称单数形式。动词由原形变为动词的第三人称单数形式有以下方法: a. 一般在词尾加s：read—reads swim—swims run—runs b. 以s, x, ch, sh, o结尾的，加es teach—teaches do—does wash—washes c. 以辅音字母+y 结尾的, 变y 为 i再加es fly—flies carry—carries 一般疑问句：句首加does, 谓语动词用原形。 Does your pen pal live in Shanghai?
