第一课时’s learn Make a map
教学目标:
能听、说、读、写表示城市设施的单词或短语:science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital.
能运用所学词汇介绍场所的方位。
了解一些简单的构词规律,如合成词bookstore是由两个词构词。
了解一些简单的发音规律,如双音节词,多音节词和词组的重音。
重点难点:
重点:能听、说、读、写表示城市设施的单词或短语:science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital. 能运用所学词汇介绍场所的方位。
教学方法:

教学准备:
1、自制有关城市设施的地图。
2、PPT及相关视频音频资料。
Teaching procedures Step1 Review
1. Greeting.
2. Show Ss a map. Ask : What’s this ?
Put the map in different places. Review Where question by asking : Where is my map ? Help Ss answer by using on/ in/ under/near/…
Step2 Overview
Task: Make a city map and talk about it.
T: Look, this is a map of a city. Let’s go to the city, and then we’ll make a city map and talk about it.
Step3 Presentation
1. Show a picture about Robin. This is our friend, Robin. He is helpful. He can help us in the city. Do you want to know where he is from? Teach science museum.
2. Tell the students: I have many things to do.
First, I want to buy some books: Where can I go? Show the picture of a bookstore and teach the word.
3. T takes out a letter and says: I want to post the letter. Should I go to the bookstore? Where should I go? Teach post office.
4. We want to see a film, Where can we go?
5. T pretends to have a bad cold and says, “I ‘m not well today .Where can I go? Teach hospital.
6. Show Ss the map, Where is the hospital/…?
