A Study on the Features of Aussie English 澳大利亚英语的特征 Abstract: As we all known that Australia is a young nation with colorful natural resources, cultures and languages. Its main origin language comes from the British English, but due to the special historical reasons and the geographical differences, Aussie English strikes us deeply with its own typical features. Australia English as an important variety has an important position in modern English family. Since historical, geographical and ecological environment impact, Aussie English becomes more and more different to other English varieties and has developed into a new branch of language with unique features in grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, etc. This paper attempts to explore above aspects. Language as the product of a society’s development is always dynamic.
