ESD的基础及其控制

ESD的基础及其控制 ESD 是什么? 有电势差的物质之间静电荷 的快速转移 ESD = ElectroStatic Discharge (静电放电) The second common method of creating static charge is known as induction charging. When an object becomes charged, there is an electrostatic field created by the charge. In fact, we use electrostatic fieldmeters to determine the presence of static charge. If an isolated conductive object is placed in the field, charge on the new object will be rearranged by the field. Some of the mobile charge on this conductor will be bound by the field, while the remainder is still able to move. If the object is momentarily grounded, a transfer of charge to or from the object will occur. This is an ESD event and could potentially damage the new object This object will now have a charge opposite in polarity to the original charge. If the new object is now moved away from the original charged object and electrostatic field, it remains charged. A second ESD event can occur when it is grounded again. Thus, inductive charging of devices has the potential for creating two damaging ESD events. It is not unusual for triboelectrically charged insulators to induce a potentially damaging charge on nearby conductors.
