Social Media as a Tool for Protests The role that social media plays in instigating protests has been raising increasingly people’s awareness these days .The rapid development of Internet services lead the protests activity to be organized and widespread .Social media is considered effective for protest even in highly censored areas like Iran and China—which may cause a new period of political debate all over the world.
