Arousing the Junior Students’ Interest in Learning English to Lead them to Happy LearningAbstract This paper primarily studies the interest in English learning of junior students in order to lead them to happy learning. The dozens of studies on this aspect especially for children have been carried out in the past few years. With the reform and development of our education, English learning is much more necessary. So it is also more necessary to study a effective way to arouse the learners’ interest in English learning. But a lot of students especially the junior students don’t have interest in English and think it is boring to learning it. In the traditional instructional model, the teacher becomes the spokesman of knowledge in the monotonous class atmosphere. The junior middle school students are in the growth stage and their physical and psychological characteristics have determined their emotional instability and unsustainable interest. This paper undertakes a comprehensive way for this study. Specifically, through the observation of the junior students about their English learning, the analysis shows that there are some typical problems in English learning. For example, classroom teaching is mechanical and dull. This paper discusses the implication of these findings for English pedagogy further research to make our English teaching more scientific.Key words interest； English teaching； happy learning 摘要 本文简要研究了初中生的英语学习兴趣问题，力求应到他们奔向乐学之路。前人已经做了许多关于学习兴趣这方面的研究，尤其是针对儿童。随着教育的改革和发展，英语学习已经越来越有必要，因此，很有必要研究一套激发学生英语学习兴趣的有效方法。但是，现在很多学生，尤其是初中生这样的过渡阶段的学生，大都觉得英语学习很无聊，没用。在传统的教学模式中，老师就是知识的代言人，课堂气氛单调无味。又应为初中生正处于成长阶段，其胜利和心理特点决定了他们的情绪不够稳定，兴趣难以持久。因此，本文采用了一些综合性的方法来研究，观察他们的学习情况，通过分析表明他们的英语学习上存在些典型的问题，例如课堂教学机械枯燥，通过本问对英语教学方法的进一步探讨使我们的教学方法更具科学性。关键词 兴趣 英语教学 乐学Arousing the Junior Students’ Interest in Learning EnglishOutlineThesis statement: It is necessary to study how to arouse the junior students’ interest in English learning, both for students’ improvement of English learning and tea
