To extract paclitaxel from the yew roots, bark of the yew ，which is in danger of becoming extinct, is the main way used to produce paclitaxel so far， which has great environmental impact. However，there is the other way to produce paclitaxel that has a broad prospect. It’s called microbial fermentation technology，which is environmental friendly and efficient.
