Results: from the nine districts in jilin area (city) acquisition of check out of a total of 900 samples of pig tonsil 46 strains of streptococcus suis, detection rate was 5.11%, including 15 strains of streptococcus suis type 2 (32.6%), 8 strains of streptococcus suis type 7 (17.3%), 3 strains of streptococcus suis type 9 (6.5%), 20 strains of undetermined serotype (43.5%). Conclusion: the apparent in jilin area healthy swine pathogen rate was 5.11% on average, streptococcus suis type 2 as the main serotype.
