As a valuable traditional Chinese medicine, it has caused the wide attention of both clinic medicine and healthcare function. According to the cur- rent research and industrialization status of silkworm Cordyceps militaris, this paper points out some problems which we have faced and gives analysis and discussion. And the trends of research and development in the future are also predicted and valued. This review emphasizes some im- portant and neglected aspects concerning the process of marketization of silkworm Cordyceps mi- litaris, and gives some suggestions for the development of silkworm Cordyceps militaris, aiming at providing reference for the further research and the industrialization of silkworm Cordyceps mili- taris.
