A quick mind hardly goes along with a weak body. So we have to keep healthy. For adults, people can’t do jobs well without a strong body. For our students, education can’t go without good health. You can see it’s important to keep healthy for everyone. If you want to keep healthy, you should have a good eating habit. Traditional Chinese doctors believe we need a balance of yin and yang to be healthy. For example, are you often weak and tired? Maybe you have too much yin. You should eat hot yang foods, like beef. Eating Dangshen and Huangqi herbs is also good for this. But people who are too stressed out and angry may have too much yang. Chinese doctors believe that they should eat more yin foods like tofu. Chinese medicine is now popular in many western countries. And we should follow some advice from traditional Chinese doctors. Its easy to have a healthy lifestyle. People who eat a balanced diet should be healthier than those who only eat biscuits and hamburgers. Here is a saying that an apple a day keeps doctors away. It tells us the advantage to eat fruits. It’s good to eat lots of vegetables and fruit. It’s also fine to eat some meat or fish. Nuts can be instead of meat sometimes. Fast food is not always bad for us, but too much of it is not good.
