The scale of oxygen production enterprises is also growing. Physical and chemical properties of oxygen determines that there is an explosion, burning and other inherent dangers for oxygen in storage and production process, while determine it with many potentially dangerous by the production characteristics such as large-scale oxygen-made equipment, high degree of automation, high-risk and high continuity . The security assessment of Oxygen enterprise is based on the content of production process, major equipment, operating conditions, and the use of substances and outputs which the Oxygen enterprise provided to operate. The security assessment of oxygen enterprises not only can prevent accidents and reduce the hazards of accidents and occupation but also provide the whole process and full range of guidance. This thesis research by a large number of materials, Discussed the internal and external security assessment of current development and the purpose and significance of safety assessment. Aiming at the production of oxygen plant characteristics and safety management for YiChang Marine Diesel Engine plant . analyzed and studied the inherent dangers and harmful factors in the production process. Synthetically using safety checklist method, pre-hazard analysis, risk evaluation method (six-stage method) and fault tree analysis, made a safety evaluation for oxygen enterprise security status and gave evaluation results and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
