He climbs onto shore, gasping for breath, and strokes the Ring in his palm with his finger. Sméagol comes over and looks at it covetously.) Sméagol:?Déagol? Déagol.?(seeing the Ring)?Give us that Déagol my love. Déagol:?Why? Sméagol:?Because…it’s my birthday and I wants it. (A fight begins and escalates, ending with Sméagol choking Déagol to death.)
