The planting area of alfalfa had reached 11,590 hm2 by 2014, and greatly promoted the rapid development of dairy industry of Inner Mongolia. Through the field research on the Grassland service station, enterprises, professional cooperatives and farmers of Tumd Left County, it has in-depth understanding for the local alfalfa planting and alfalfa industry development. In this paper, it is introduced the basic situation and alfalfa current status of Tumd Left County, analyzed the advantage conditions and existing problems of the alfalfa industry development in Tumd Left County, and proposed the related suggestions
