And politeness principles play a key part in helping them to gain their objectives in the correspondence. Based on the politeness principles, together with the characteristics, principles and functions of business correspondence, this paper analyzes the politeness principle in business correspondence through examples both in positive and negative representation, and comes up with some strategies. It concludes that politeness principle plays an important role in modern business correspondence. Key words: business correspondence; politeness principles; examples; strategies 内容摘要 商务信函是国际贸易中人们相互交流与沟通的重要方式。礼貌原则在帮助他们获得最终的商业目的扮演着重要的角色。本文以礼貌原则为依据，结合商务信函的特点，原则和功能，通过实例从积极和消极表现分析了商务信函中的礼貌原则，并提出一些策略。礼貌原则在现今商务信函中发挥着举足轻重的作用。 关键词：商务信函；礼貌原则；实例；策略 Contents 1.
