Answer: “教育是人类社会特有的一种社会现象,是一种培养人的活动,它不仅是人类社会延续和发展的需要,也是人类再生产的需要。” ——【P1《基础教育学》宋德如等主编;南京:江苏人民出版社】 According to this Chinese definition of education, education is a human unique activity. And according to the 2nd paragraph “it (education) will never end”, education will last for all one’s life, so the word “students” (actually a periodic job) is not proper to generalize the receiver of education. The word “human being” emphasizes that the receiver of education is a person rather than an animal or a machine. The word “people” hasn’t such effect to emphasize that. ANSWER: “人是能够制造并使用工具的高等动物。” ——【《新编现代汉语词典》吉林大学出版社2005年五月修订版】 From this Chinese definition of a human, the quality required of a human is: being able to make and use tools. And I also think the qualities of thinking and creating are required of a human as well. ANSWER: There exist no “completely developed human beings”. This aim of education of developing “completely developed human beings” indicates that we should live and learn. Education endures a lifelong time. On the one hand, they inherit the aim of “completely developed human beings” on the other hand, they place an emphasis on serving for society and politics. ANSWER: Yes ,I do. Because Chinese spirit and aim haven’t totally achieved the 4 changes presented in this article.
