Veterans Day is celebrated on November 11 every year. At first it was to show gratitude for peace, but now we celebrate it to show respect to veterans. It honors all veterans of the United States Armed Forces, whether or not they have served in a conflict; but it especially honors the surviving veterans of World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. There will be a parade, and people will also go to the cemetery to honor the soldiers who have passed away. On the Veterans Day,the ex-serviceman and their families go to the cemetery to memory their battle companions and folks. A veteran is looking for his battle companion’s name on the monument.
