We should be on alert to recognize and to diagnose the syndrome earlier, to treat the patients with tailored comprehensive measurements earlier, in order to stabilize the patients and protect and normalize the organ function, all aimed at normal tissue perfusion and oxygen supply. Meanwhile, we could evaluate and stratify the patients’ risk by clinical manifestations and hemodynamic monitoring to make prognosis. The newly published Expert consensus on acute circulatory failure: clinical practice of Chinese emergency physicians, would help emergency physicians to recognize, diagnose and treat the syndrome earlier, to improve the standardization and professionalization of the clinical algorithm of the syndrome, and to save the patient’s life and improve their life quality.
