Government-subsidize Student Loan Repayment and Recovery Ratio Research Hua Shen Graduate School of Education, Peking University, Beijing 100871 [Abstract]The repayment and recovery of student loans is focused by all participators. It is also a key to keeping student loans sustainable developing. We measured the repayment ratio, recovery ratio and relative efficiency index of the Government-Subsidize Student Loan(GSSL) respectively under the old and new policy, and made an international comparison with the student loans in the other about 40 countries to show the total implementation efficiency of the GSSL. Finally, we posed some policy suggestions to improve the implementation efficiency of the GSSL.
